Owner, Stylist, Registered Nurse

Incomparable in style, Joanne has over 30 years of experience in the industry, and 20 years as a salon owner. She began her career in Downtown Nashville as a Stylist and Nail Designer in 1984. In 1996 she followed her dreams and opened Nashville’s first of it’s kind salon and day spa: Salon J. She has a passion for helping her clients achieve self-expression through the ever-evolving passion for hair. She is a coloring specialist whose background includes training from a list of Who’s Who, including Paul Mitchell, Scruples, L’Oreal Majirel, Redken and Brazilian Blowout. Joanne is a certified Great Lengths™ Extensions specialists. Joanne perused her dreams of becoming a registered nurse in order to incorporate a medical spa environment for the spa.

From an early age, I have been interested in skincare and ingredients, which has transformed into a career that I am so passionate about! I’m here to make skincare routines easy for you and help you create a regimen that suits your lifestyle! I’m a Nashville native that loves traveling and self care: Hawaii, Costa Rica, Thailand, Mexico + yoga, meditating and reading. I can’t wait to get to know you and your skin! Harumi Mera

Hair Stylist

Peruvian-Japanese native who moved from Savannah GA, her love for hair and fashion started at a very early age, she is a Paul Mitchell School Atlanta graduate. After graduating, she trained in French cutting and balayage techniques in Jamison Shaw Hairdresser Salon in Atlanta. Harumi loves to keep up with new hair styles and trends through constant training. She loves to travel and dancing but she also looks forward to bringing a little bit of sunshine and a smile to your day.

Sharita Carey

Nail Technician

A Nashville native, Sharita has been servicing nail clients in Nashville for over 22 years. She studied at Tennessee Technology community college. Sharita specializes in Nail Extensions, Acrylics and dip sets. Sharita offers an array of nail art including Dip and Gel finishes.

Gloria Mayberry

Nail Technician

Born and raised in Columbia, TN. has been in the industry as a nail tech for 29 years, she specializes in acrylic nails. Gloria is out-going energetic, warm hearted. she loves meeting new people and learning about their backgrounds and interests.She has a passion to please others.
